We have some exciting news to share. As a result of all your encouragement and positive feedback for our Lent Blog, Micah and I put together a proposal to turn the blog into a book… and we can now announce that we have a publisher!
We are delighted that BRF (Bible Reading Fellowship) have commissioned this and we are now working hard to create a stylish book on 40 women from the Old Testament, all illustrated by Micah Hayns.
The working title is Unveiled: Women of the Old Testament and the Choices They Made.
The plan is to be completed by October 2021 – we’ll keep you posted!
Clare and Micah
I’m so pleased. It’s so good.

Dear Clare, That ‘s really good news. I loved following the blog during Lent, which seems a world away now. Hope you have been coping ok with virtual term etc, and all the tensions in college. Not a fun time for anyone. Hope too that you can have a good rest over the summer. Love from David ( Meara)

Dear Clare & Micah. We’ve been hoping you would do this, and to have it out in time for Christmas would be ideal. I can think of number of people for whom it would make a perfect present. Clare, everyone to whom I forwarded the individual pieces were delighted to be part of it. Congratulations on taking your good idea forward. Finding a publisher is more than half of the battle! CLare and Micah – that is absolutely FANTASTIC NEWS!! What a wonderful affirmation to you both, of your insight, sensitivity, wisdom and clarity. SO delighted that it will have a wider readership; like so many, I found it so illuminating – shedding light on women that had been so easily overlooked as Ive read…
Just one question – will john the joker get a mention – still giggle at his tomato joke!

Dear Clare, this is so exciting! I thoroughly enjoyed your series over Lent and it has made me look at the women of the OT differently. There is scope for so much to be offered in this area – looking at Bathsheba with my (older) women’s homegroup we were struck by the contrast between her as a young woman at the mercy of men in II Samuel 11, and her as the wise elderly mother of the king in I Kings 2. So I look forward to this book and the sequels! blessings Ann
